ES: Where
do you reside?
EP: I live in a four bedroom
townhome in Orlando, FL. I live with the creator of this
website, Eric Sharp, and it has been one of the worst experiences
of my life. He's a pretty good guy but he just refuses to
wear clothes around the house.
ES:
What makes you money today?
EP: Programming and knowing
everything there is to know about the Internet.
ES:
What is your title, what do
you do, and where?
EP: I am a Software Engineer
for a company called WildCard Systems. I work with a team
of about 10 other programmers to create and build stored
value platforms for larger financial networks like Visa
and MasterCard. We also do a lot of work with Bank of America
and their card based programs. I'm also the owner of a small
software company called Code
Axis Software. With this company I do a lot of e-commerce
programming and maintain web, mail and database servers
for about 30 clients.
ES:
What time do you wake up &
what's the first thing you do?
EP: 8:30, crawl to the shower
ES:
What do you do in your spare
time?
EP:
Run a small software company, work on my ping-pong
game.
ES:
What's in your cd player right
now?
EP: A new band out of Orlando
called Set
To Stun, look for them at the 2006 Grammy's.
ES: What's
your favorite website and why? (Eric-Sharp.com is not
electable)
EP: One of my favorite
sites based on design and functionality is the newly released
fullsail.com
website. I think the site is absolutely beautiful and
some of the technical pieces that went in to building
this site are very impressive. As far as the site I visit
most frequently, that would have to be either cnn.com
or slashdot.org.
ES:
List a few of your short term goals. (Travel, career,
personal, etc.)
EP: Visit San Fran, learn
to play the piano, beat Alex and Tyler in the 2003 Hoopd
Tourney.
ES:
If you could spend a day with anyone in the world (living),
who would it be and why?
EP: Adam Duritz of the
Counting Crows. I'd want to discover the inspiration behind
his music.
ES:
Favorite movies of all time?
EP: Braveheart, Gladiator
ES: If
you were given the power to either fly (45 mph max), or
become invisible for a designated duration of 30 minutes
every day, which one would you choose & why?
EP: Become invisible so
I could sneak in to Orlando Magic games and sit courtside
for free.
ES:
Have you ever been arrested?
If so, what for?
EP: Yes, when I was 15
I was caught red handed while throwing snow balls at passing
cars. Harmless fun really but one late night truck driver
didn't think so. The official charge was a curfew violation.
I'll never forget cracking up while getting my mugshot
taken with Tyler Andersen in the background making faces
at me. Luke Eshleman was involved too!
ES:
What's your most favorite
memory of Eric?
EP: When I watched him
kiss Danielle Densmore at a Franklin elementary school
recess.
