ES:
Where do you reside?
M: Collingwood, Ontario,
Canada
ES:
What makes you money today?
M: Occasionally a rare win
from a 5 cent machine at the casino...otherwise my job.
ES:
What is your title, what do you
do, and where?
M: Manager at Pilkington
Glass Factory Cafeteria in Collingwood. I manage a brand
new cafeteria including 15 vending machines, and a staff
of 7. I like being a "nice" boss, but dislike
the long hours.
ES:
What time do you wake up &
what's the first thing you do?
M: Mon-Fri about 5:30 a.m.
Sat and Sun...hmmm....about the same! Habit I guess. First
thing I do? See if the sun is shining, look at my kid's
pictures and go get a coffee.
ES:
What do you do in your spare time?
M:
Spare time? Is there such a thing? Eric's birthday
present is still sitting here in a box...what's that tell
you??? Actually, I love doing crafts...cross stitching,
painting etc. Love to cook and bake, gardening is great.
Since I live 45 min from a Wal-Mart, going there is a treat!
ES:
What's in your cd player right
now?
M: Sarah Brightman. I know,
I know. Who's she huh? First time I heard her music it was
drifting from a sailboat in the
marina at sunset. Just beautiful...little bit opera.
ES:
What's your favorite website
and why? (Eric-Sharp.com is not electable)
M: What? Eric's website
doesn't count? :) I would say any health website. Love
to be able to look up things for free,
without going to a Doctor.
ES:
List a few of your short term
goals. (Travel, career, personal, etc.)
M: Purchase some Disney
movies that are disappearing fast... get all my pictures
in frames or albums...plant lots of flowers in pots for
my patio...but most of all...have my kids come for a visit...oh,
and send Eric his past due birthday box!
ES:
If you could spend a day with
anyone in the world (living), who would it be and why?
M: Charles Swindoll, Evangelist.
Because his voice has ALWAYS calmed me even when I was
the most discouraged. I am
fascinated just listening to his talks, and he is so interesting.
ES:
Favorite movies of all time?
M: Wizard of Oz, Toy Story,
and Christmas Story
ES:
If you were given the power
to either fly (45 mph max), or become invisible for a
designated duration of 30 minutes every day, which one
would you choose & why?
M: Fly...I imagine that
would be calming and peaceful and seeing so much all at
once!
ES: Have
you ever been arrested? If so, what for?
M: Never.
ES: What's
your most favorite memory of Eric?
M: As a newborn laying
in my arms for the first time. A mother never forgets
that moment. Secondly, sitting on the kitchen floor at
his grandma's with a bag of chips, munching away. He was
about 3 and had climbed up on a chair so he could sneak
and get that bag of chips! Naughty boy! Then there was
the time he was playing third base in baseball...and he
went airborne horizontally to catch a ball...I was so
proud of him. There were the memories of me dressing him
like a nerd back in the days when we didn't KNOW we were
dressing him like a nerd! And the time he had his tonsils
out and he needed help getting dressed...and he was uncomfortable
having his mama help him :) And all the times at Christmas
when I purposely gave him all the clue cards for his presents
that sent him outdoors looking..haha. Oh...you said favorite
"memory"? There are SO MANY...how can I choose?
Every day is a special memory in the making even when
we are apart. May life give us lots more!
