03/02/04 Vishal Patel - Acting, Modeling, why Bono is the coolest guy in the world, old Hitchcock movies, & the mysterious speed of Jean Drummond in grade school.

ES: Where do you reside?
VP: Chicago, Illinois

ES: What makes you money today?
VP: Odd jobs, model, acting

ES: What is your title, what do you do, and where?
VP: No real title. (pre-med) Arts Administration degree. Right now I act and model in Chicago and New York. Mostly chi-town. And I do other odd jobs - promotions, hotel operator, internships.

ES: What time do you wake up & what's the first thing you do?
VP: It varies. I wake up if I have anything in the morning, otherwise I'll sleep till whenever. The first thing I do when I wake up is go back to sleep.

ES: What do you do in your spare time?
VP: I watch a lot of movies. I attend a lot of acting workshops. In the summer I'm a teacher's aid for Chemistry. I also go to Bally's because I am a beefcake unlike scronny Eric. I also like to go out and womanize like 007.

ES: What's in your cd player right now?
VP: Damien Rice and STP's greatest hits. Damien Rice kicks the crap out of John Mayer and Jason Mraz. Good singer... kinda like David Gray. STP brings back all the good 'ol days at SHS when I used to beat up Eric Sharp.

ES: What's your favorite website and why? (Eric-Sharp.com is not electable)
VP: I normally check out cnn.com, espn.com, and any sites with audition postings. vish-is-a-god.com is the best site out there.

ES: List a few of your short term goals. (Travel, career, personal, etc.)
VP: Get on eric-sharp.com... conquer the world... be on cover of GQ... give back when I make a lot of money.

ES: If you could spend a day with anyone in the world (living), who would it be and why?
VP: Bono - coolest guy in the world, and besides his music, he takes on world issues such as AIDS and third world debt. He's a great example of the ultimate dream. I'd also like to meet Russell Crowe or Brad Pitt... both are great actors.

ES: Favorite movies of all time?
VP: "Vertigo" (Hitchcock is the best director ever),"Roman Holiday" (Audrey Hepburn is a classy actress), "Lawrence of Arabia" (David Lean made a great epic with two talented actors - Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif).

ES: If you were given the power to either fly (45 mph max), or become invisible for a designated duration of 30 minutes every day, which one would you choose & why?
VP: Invisible because I have a bad habit of drawing too much attention to myself. Plus if I chose flying I would get shot by a duck hunter.

ES: Have you ever been arrested? If so, what for?
VP: Believe it or not, I haven't. I always get away with something... even when i got caught with a fake ID I still got away with it and got another one. There are some other criminal things I've done but we'll keep it on the DL.

ES: What's your most favorite memory of Eric?
VP: Back at Washington Elementary School he used to always get into fights during recess. In one fight, he broke his glasses and had to walk around school with them taped up for a month. From that point on, before every fight, with a death stare, he would take off his glasses and turn to the person next to him and say "Hold my glasses."

In 4th grade he was the fastest runner at Washington. He took great pride in his need for speed. Then a GIRL named Jean Drummond beat him in a sprint in front of the whole school. He still says she tripped him, but we all know he couldn't take losing to a girl.
